I have been babysitting for the past 11 years. My family and I moved in 1998 from Framingham, Massachusetts to Boca Raton, Florida so  we would be closer to family.  I'm a senior at Lynn University majoring in multi-media journalism with a minor in radio television. I have one  younger brother and he will be starting his freshman year of college this comming fall.  This fall I will be reporting for the presidential debates that will be held at my school.  In my free time, I enjoy volunteering at Boca Helping Hands, building homes with Habitat for Humanity, taking a jog around my neighborhood, relaxing on the beach with my freinds, cooking new dishes with my mother and attending sports games .

 

Hi my name is Emily Baum. I grew up in a town called Evanston, Chicago. I'm 21 years old and recently  transfered from Florida Gulf Coast University  to Lynn University.   I'm majoring in human services. Someday I hope to work in a mental hospital or even an adoption agency.  I have nannied for serveral familes ages infant to 14 years old.  In my free time I enjoy traveling the world and seeing new places, reading, walking on the beach, horseback riding and spending quality time with my family and freinds.

 

Hello, my name is Anthony DiCrosta.  I am 24 years old.  I graduated from Lynn University in 2011 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a minor in general management.  I finished college with a 3.4 GPA.  I originally grew up living in Connecticut.  I grew up privileged but not spoiled. I learned the value of hard work and dedication from my father who still owns and operates a large auto dealership. He has done so for over 20 years.  I am a very outgoing person who likes to learn about almost anything.  In my free time I enjoy playing pool, going for a swim, spending time with close friends and partaking in martial arts. I  have been doing martial arts for over 7 years and have attained a black belt in the process. Growing up, I babysat my sister who is  8 years younger than me.  I also babysat for a few other families including a family with 2 boys and a family with one boy and one girl.  I believe that in order to babysit effectively a good amount of patience is involved as well as having the ability to connect on a deeper level with the kids.  Other experience with kids includes working as a karate instructor in my schools summer camp program.  I believe that through this program my ability to provide constructive guidelines and discipline for the kids was really strengthened and thus the children’s’ ability to focus and learn strengthened as well.  

 

My name is Todd Miller and I am a junior at Lynn University.  I am majoring in Radio Television with a minor in Internet media in the Communications department.  I was born and raised in  Warren, New Jersey.  In my town I have babysat for a family with two beautiful children (one boy and one girl).  I started babysitting their two children in 2007 while I was in high school.  When I go home for  and  winter and spring break I can get so excited to watch these great kids.  I  have a huge passion for working with kids, as I also was a camp counselor in Up-state New York for four years.  Some of my hobbies include playing hockey, football, basketball, and other team-oriented sports; watching the abovementioned sports on TV; playing video games (although while babysitting I do limit the video games if necessary)

Hi my name is Jessica Wein. I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I currently attend school at Lynn University for Hospitality.  I have been a babysitter for several years beginning with my internship at the Ellis Day School. What I like best about babysitting is spending time with the children and working on motor, social, and cognitive skills as well as building a bond. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, attending musicals, and volunteering with Hillel.
